Description
Museum Krona's herb garden lies within the walls of the centuries-old Maria Refugie Abbey in Uden, part of which is still inhabited.
History
The museum connects the history of the Bridgettine sisters with religious art. Its quiet garden forms a transition between the museum and living monastic tradition.
Nature & Design
Medicinal and other traditional herbs grow in ordered beds. Hedges, paths and the terrace of De Refter museum café create an enclosed monastic atmosphere.
Visitor Information
The garden, terrace and café can be visited without a museum ticket during opening hours. The museum itself charges admission and accepts the Museum Card.
