Description
Tolhuistuin is a historic city garden on the IJ waterfront in Amsterdam North. It lies directly opposite the city centre and combines greenery with culture.
History
Its history goes back to the eighteenth century. In 1770 a tea dome with a large garden was built, and the site became a popular outing for Amsterdam residents.
