Heemtuin Lisse lies along the Heempad, next to the Zemelpoldermolen. It focuses on plants, shrubs and trees that naturally occur in the Netherlands.
History
The garden was laid out in 1971 and has been managed again by volunteers since 1990.
Nature & Design
The garden contains more than 300 plant species native to the Netherlands, including threatened and protected species. The beehive area is also well known.
