Description
On the edge of Maarssenbroek, a compact garden around the environmental education centre invites children and adults to explore nature with all their senses.
History
The garden serves as an outdoor classroom in Reigerskamp park and is maintained with the help of volunteers.
Nature & Design
Fifteen sections include herbs, vegetables, spring flowers, bird woodland, compost, butterfly plants, a pond and plant families. Sound collectors and a large insect hotel encourage hands-on discovery.
