Description
The Gooise Heemtuin lies behind the bee enclosure beside Blaricum's municipal cemetery. Almost 2,000 square metres present original Gooi vegetation and elements of the former cultural landscape.
History
The garden is managed by the Stichting Wilde Planten Blaricum together with IVN Gooi's educational garden group.
Nature & layout
Miniature landscapes demonstrate the diversity of the Gooi region. Information panels and labels beside flowering plants make an independent visit educational even when volunteers are absent.
Visitor information
The garden is freely accessible throughout the year. Volunteers work on Wednesday mornings from late March to late October; group tours can be requested.
