Description
De Braak is a native-plant park in Amstelveen with indigenous plants, water and winding paths. It lies along Amsterdamseweg and is especially known for its spring flowering.
History
De Braak was developed from 1939 and is described as the oldest heempark in Amstelveen.
Nature & Design
A large pool forms the centre of the park. Around it are flower-rich habitats, reeds, heath-like areas, wooden bridges and paths for short walks.
