Description
This garden occupies a green strip between 's-Gravenweg and Abram van Rijckevorselweg. Volunteers transformed a marshy plot of about one hectare into an accessible wild garden.
History
The municipality created the green buffer in the 1960s between the historic road and nearby high-rise flats. The present network of paths developed later.
Nature & layout
Woodchip paths pass trees, plants, herbs and damp habitats. Many species are labelled, while fungi and birds are also highlighted.
Visitor information
The garden is freely accessible and admission is free. Visitors are asked to remain on the paths and leave plants and wildlife undisturbed.

The managers describe it as a wild garden rather than a strict native garden because naturally dispersed and deliberately planted species both occur.
