Description
Heemtuin Goudse Hout lies in the Goudse Hout recreation area near Gouda. It was designed as a regional native-plant garden with several landscape elements.
History
In the mid-1980s, the 3.5-hectare garden was designed by Stichting Heemtuin Goudse Hout and the provincial planning service of South Holland. The central section opened in 1987.
Nature & Design
The garden includes a herb garden, vegetable garden, elm grove with stinzen plants, farmstead plants, standard orchard and a living herbarium with grain species and arable flora.

The garden is freely accessible daily from sunrise to sunset.
