Description
Tuinpark Nut en Genoegen is a large historic garden park near Westerpark in Amsterdam. Visitors can walk along lanes, gardens, a pond and shared greenery.
History
The allotment association was founded in 1920 and is one of Amsterdam's oldest garden parks. The municipality laid out the park in 1927; from the beginning it also served as a walking park for local residents.
Nature & Design
The park has 375 gardens, paths, ditches, squares, a pond, sports field, butterfly garden and nature-education projects such as insect hotel and hedgehog shelter.

The long ditches and angled paths still refer to the old peat meadow land of the Overbrakerpolder.
